Melville, NY – November 10, 2025 – SpencerMetrics Inc., a leading provider of data-driven productivity solutions for manufacturing operations, is pleased to announce that Vishal Sahay has been appointed President of the corporation. In addition, Yutak Kwok will serve as Vice President – Technology, and Catherine Fiasconaro as Vice President – Operations.
A veteran of the company for over two decades, Vishal Sahay graduated from Bangalore University and earned a Master’s degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Yutak Kwok earned his Bachelor’s in Imaging Technology at RIT and a Master’s in Information Science. Catherine (Cathy) Fiasconaro, our longest-serving employee, earned her Bachelor’s in economics at Stony Brook University; Cathy also leads our Test Laboratory. With these appointments, our Founder, David Spencer (Bachelor’s & Master’s, MIT in CS/EE), assumes the role of CEO/Chairman, transferring all day-to-day operational authority to our new President, Vishal Sahay.
The management team has a deep understanding of the industry. SpencerMetrics Inc. (previously Spencer & Associates Publishing, Ltd.) began business in 1989 with Spencer & Associates consultants in Digital Color Printing. Consulting evolved into the SpencerLab quality & performance test laboratory serving premier industrial and consumer print/packaging companies. With Vishal, Yutak, and Cathy on the team, an assignment to test real-world productivity led to automating that methodology and subsequent deployment in 2014. Thus began the strategic transition for SpencerMetrics growth, retaining the values of collaboration and customer satisfaction.
